Yes. Eau & Co’s private advisory process may involve personal memories, lifestyle details, gifting intentions, relationships, events, public image, or brand-sensitive information. For that reason, confidentiality is treated as part of the client experience.

Depending on the nature of the engagement, Eau & Co may use a mutual nondisclosure agreement. A standard NDA can be shared during the initial consultation, and we are also happy to review a client’s preferred NDA document when appropriate.

This is especially recommended for private clients, public-facing individuals, gift commissions, bridal and event work, brand collaborations, and ongoing retainer advisory.

Yes. Eau & Co offers private advisory both in person and virtually.

Virtual work may include a discovery questionnaire, scent history review, wardrobe assessment, video consultation, and curated testing guidance. Depending on the service selected, a scent discovery kit or recommended sample list may be provided so you can explore the direction from home.

Scent discovery is often most meaningful when it allows room for testing, drydown, reflection, and refinement — but timing always depends on your need, request, and desired outcome.

Some clients come to Eau & Co for a focused result, such as a gift, special occasion, refined shortlist, or initial scent direction. Others are seeking a more layered process, such as a signature scent, fragrance wardrobe, rare sourcing, bridal or event scent styling, or ongoing advisory.

A private scent profile or signature scent session may begin with a focused consultation, while deeper services may involve multiple touchpoints over time. We will recommend the right format based on your timeline and what you are hoping to discover.

For some clients, the work is focused and efficient. For others, it becomes more reflective, allowing time for skin testing, drydown, refinement, and lived experience. Retainer-based advisory is also available for clients who want continued guidance as their life, style, gifting needs, or scent direction evolves.

Eau & Co offers private fragrance advisory at several levels.

Private Scent Profile services begin at $750. Signature Scent Commissions begin at $1,850. Fragrance Wardrobe Advisory begins at $3,500. Bridal, event, sourcing, and brand advisory services are quoted by private proposal.

For clients who want continued guidance, Eau & Co also offers ongoing advisory retainers for seasonal edits, gifting, sourcing, wardrobe updates, event planning, and evolving scent direction.

Every engagement is priced clearly before work begins.

No. Eau & Co is not a traditional perfume retailer.

Our work is fragrance advisory, interpretation, and curation. We help you understand your scent direction and provide recommendations, profiles, and sourcing guidance. You may purchase suggested fragrances independently, or request additional support with sourcing, selection, gifting, or rare finds.

Some links shared through the Eau & Co Scent Library may be affiliate links, but private advisory is not dependent on purchasing through us.

Private advisory work requires preparation, review, and reserved time.

Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. Consultation fees are non-refundable once discovery work has begun, including questionnaire review, wardrobe assessment, sourcing, research, or preparation for your session.

If a timing issue arises, Eau & Co will work with you in good faith to reschedule appropriately.

Yes. A private scent advisory can be a deeply personal and memorable gift.

Gift consultations are ideal for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, holidays, milestone moments, professional transitions, or anyone entering a new season of life. Depending on the service selected, the recipient may receive a private scent profile, curated fragrance direction, sample guidance, sourcing support, or a fully developed gift commission.
